2012 Wofford Women's Soccer Schedule

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Wofford College women’s soccer head coach Amy Kiah has announced the 2012 schedule, highlighted by eleven home contests at Snyder Field.

The season opens with an exhibition match at Francis Marion on August 17.  The regular season begins on August 17 as the Terriers host Gardner-Webb.  Wofford also hosts Troy on August 24 and Presbyterian College on August 30 to conclude the opening three-match home stand.

Wofford hits the road for the first time on September 2 as the Terriers take on Coastal Carolina.  The Terriers then return to host Winthrop on September 6 before hitting the road again to face UNC Asheville on September 9. 

Wofford returns to Snyder Field for a home contest against USC Upstate before beginning Southern Conference play on September 21 at College of Charleston, the first of a three-match road trip.  The Terriers will face The Citadel on September 23 and Chattanooga on September 27 to conclude the road trip.

The Terriers then open up five-match home stand on September 30, hosting Samford.  Matches against Elon on October 5, UNC Greensboro on October 7, Appalachian State on October 12, and Western Carolina on October 14 wrap up the home stand.

Wofford hits the road for the final time during the regular season for contests at Davidson on October 19 and Georgia Southern on October 21.  The regular season wraps up at Snyder Field as the Terriers host Furman on October 24.  The Southern Conference Tournament begins on October 28 at campus sites, with the semifinals and finals being held in Birmingham, Ala. on November 2 and 4.
