MEN’S BASKETBALL: Terriers host Elon Wednesday night!
As the Wofford basketball team closes in on tournament time, every game takes on added significance.  Wofford, 9-6 in league play (16-11 overall), is two games behind Georgia Southern for the 2nd seed in the South and the first round bye.  The Terriers opponent on Wednesday night, Elon, is in a battle in the North Division race for a first round bye as well. The Phoenix are 8-6 in SoCon play, one game behind UNCG for 1st, but only one game ahead of Samford who is in 3rd.  Tip-off Wednesday night is slated for 7:00 pm.

In addition to a very important basketball game, there will be a few one-time-only promotions for fans to enjoy including the naming of this year’s Wofford faculty member who “wins” Delta Delta Delta sorority’s “Smooch the Pooch” contest.  The “winner” kisses a boston terrier at halftime.  Also, the kids will enjoy meeting Ronald McDonald who will be in attendance AND our friends at adidas will have a special gift for select Terrier fans as well!  Don’t miss Wednesday night’s game with Elon!

Remember, the home finale is Saturday, February 25 vs. Furman at 7pm.  Exciting details about that game will be announced very soon.
