SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Wofford College rifle team hosted the University of Alabama Birmingham on Saturday morning in the Taylor Athletic Center rifle range. UAB defeated the Terriers 2138 to 2020.

Stephen Bryant was the top scorer for Wofford at 559 to place second overall, while his score was his second-highest of the season. Sirlinda Gee of UAB took individual honors with a score of 575. Cody Chesneau had a 523, which is his high score of the season. Cameron Ledbetter had a 502, followed by Jenna White at 436.

In their first matches of the season, CJ Tria had a 503 and Christine Shelton fired a 482. The Terriers were missing two shooters who are overseas during interim.

The Terriers will continue the SEARC season on Saturday, January 23 in Milledgeville, Georgia for the SEARC 5 match.
