Men's Golf Earns Academic Honors

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Wofford men’s golf program has earned President’s Special Recognition status from the Golf Coaches Association of America for earning a team grade point average of a 3.50 or better this past season.
Wofford was one of only nine Division I teams in the nation to earn President’s Special Recognition status. Other schools recognized include Brown, Butler, DePaul, Detroit Mercy, Duke, East Tennessee State, Gonzaga, Mercer, and Seton Hall. DePaul was awarded the Academic National Championship with a 3.66 GPA.
To be eligible for GCAA All-Academic Team honors a college of university must submit the grade points earned and hours attempted for each player on its official squad list for the academic year.
